Our students had a blast at the Southern Conference Education Days at Harrah's Cherokee Center - Asheville! Students enjoyed a morning of high-energy basketball fun, and found inspiration in talented college athletes, musicians, and performers! This is a well-deserved recognition for her hard work and dedication in supporting the students and teachers at the school. As a teacher assistant, Ms. Grayson plays a vital role in the education of the students by providing individualized attention and support to them. Her contributions have undoubtedly made a significant impact on the success of the school and its students. We are grateful for Ms. Grayson's commitment to excellence and her willingness to go above and beyond in her role. This recognition is a testament to her passion for education and her unwavering dedication to the students at West Buncombe Elementary.

Good morning West Buncombe Families, As you have probably already heard, today, January 9th, has been designated as an asynchronous remote day. This means that students will not report to school, but will instead complete Day #1 of their inclement weather packet that was sent home prior to Christmas break. If you may have misplaced your child's packet, don't worry. Your child has 5 days with which to complete their work and receive credit. Your child's teacher has extra copies of their packet. If there are extenuating circumstances that may prevent your child from completing their inclement work packet, please communicate with their teacher. We will make arrangements to ensure your child receives credit. Additionally, weather permitting, packets are available in our front office. Thank you, Brad Johnson, principal
