The gym at W.D. Williams Elementary wasn’t filled with bouncing balls or the squeak of sneakers - it was booming with bass, thumping with rhythm and alive with sound. With the arrival of Dancing Drum, the space was transformed into a full on-rhythm arena where every student became a musician.
From the first downbeat students were hooked - clapping, tapping, and grooving together in perfect sync. This was a hands-on-drums kind of day, where learning came to life through the power of percussion. Dancing Drum is an interactive drumming program, with a mission to educate, entertain, and inspire people of all ages about the power of music.
As rhythms layered and beats built, so did student confidence. It was more than music - it was teamwork, focus, and self-expression wrapped in a high-energy, joy-filled experience. One thing’s for sure, students found their groove as it was nothing short of drum-azing.
