Careers

Buncombe County Schools has a robust Career-Technical Education (CTE) program throughout our district. Students have the opportunity to explore careers with a Career Development Coordinator (CDC) or their CTE Teachers through interactive lessons, field trips, online exploration tools, and in middle and high school by taking specialized CTE courses. At our high schools, CTE coursework leads to career pathways and in some career cluster areas, students are able to earn a professionally recognized certification in their chosen career pathway.
