Welcome to 7th Grade math! We are looking forward to a fantastic year!
I am a native of Weaverville, NC. I graduated from North Buncombe High School. I then went on to attend Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY. There I earned my bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education. I could not wait to return to the mountains and was fortunate to receive a teaching position at North Buncombe Middle. In 2010 I completed my masters degree in Middle Grades Education from Western Carolina University and in 2012 was honored to receive my National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Mathematics.
This is my fourteenth year teaching at North Buncombe Middle School.
