About those cell phones....

There are plenty of opportunities for students to use their phones during school, but the classroom is not one of those places. Phone usage during class is strictly prohibited. Students are welcome to place their phones in their lockers, pockets, purses, etc., during class. If a phone is taken out in the classroom and in view (or if it makes a sound), the owner could be asked to place his or her phone on my desk until class is over. Repeated infractions could result in additional consequences such as administrative referrals.
