Welcome to 7th grade ELA with
Ms. Richards

Welcome Video
Although this will be a year like none other, we will navigate the various paths ahead together, and discover much along the way. As we travel this new-normal, let us be kind and patient with one another. We are all learning together, and together we will be the best of ourselves that we can be.
All assignments and materials will be delivered via
Google Classroom

2020 - 2021 This is my 14th year of teaching and I am very happy to be returning to NBMS for my third year. I am thrilled to be part of the Blackhawk family.
I hail from Florida, and previously taught
Intensive Reading at a dual-diagnosis treatment facility for incarcerated
youth, ages 13-21. From there I spent
six years teaching Reading/Writing at a public high school in Lee County,
Florida. After many years of planning
and patience I was able to relocate from Florida to this beautiful area.
I thoroughly enjoy nature, hiking, gardening,
reading, and spending time with family – especially my 4 ½ year-old grandson.
