Classroom F.A.Q.

What should I bring to your class?
You should bring your binder (with dividers and notebook paper), a pen or pencil, your computer (and charger), earbuds, and your independent reading book to class every day.

Although not required, it is also helpful if you have sticky notes, colored pencils, highlighters, and markers.

What should I do when enter your classroom?
--Put your phone in the classroom phone stateion
--Go to your assigned seat; Get out any needed materials and put your bookbag in a place that is not blocking the aisle
--Check the SmartBoard for directions and begin working on your bellringer activity

Will we have homework?
Although I will not be requiring you to fill out a weekly reading log, I do expect all students to be reading a book of their choice at home.  I will check in on your progress every Friday.

If you do not complete your classwork at school you will be asked to finish it for homework.

What is your bathroom policy?
--Please try to use the restroom between classes or during independent work.
--Only one student is allowed out of the classroom at a time.
--Students MUST sign out and sign back in on the clipboard at the front of my room.

Will we be doing all of our work on the computer?
No.  Sometimes you will be required to do your work on paper, sometimes I will require you to complete your work on the computer.  When practical, I will give you a choice for how you prefer to complete your assignment.

What should I do if I am absent?
Be sure to check Google Classroom each day you are absent to see our daily agenda.  if we are doing work digitally, you should be able to access everything you need when you're absent.  If we are doing our assignment on paper please contact me via email and I will send you what you need for the day.

If you know you will be absent for several days, please let me know as soon as possible so I can make sure you get all the resources you will need.
